Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Bellingham Angel Investors!
We are an active group of accredited investors* providing capital, connections and expertise to early stage ventures. We are segment agnostic, with a geographic focus on the US Pacific Northwest and British Columbia, Canada. We are passionate about companies with unique products/solutions that solve unmet market needs and that are led by great people. Since our founding in 2005, BAI members have invested more than $30M in approximately 50 companies.
Our members come from a diverse range of backgrounds and share an interest in discovering, and investing in, high potential companies that help fuel our local economy. Our group meets on a monthly basis where pre-screened start-ups make their investment pitch to members. Companies who attract member interest may enter due diligence, following which members make their investment decisions. BAI often collaborates with other Angel groups in discovering new companies and syndicating investment rounds. If this sounds interesting and engaging to you, please reach out to us at contact BAI.
BAI membership dues are $800 per year. New members are also charged a one-time initiation fee of $100. These payments fund our operations, including member lunch meetings and social events.
