The live event will include an audience favorite prize and there will be networking opportunities afterwards. Please register as a spectator if you'd like to attend to help with event planning (walk-ins will also be welcome).

Are you a local Whatcom/Skagit County entrepreneur with an innovative idea? Whether you’re just starting your journey or looking to take your startup to new heights, you’ve come to the right place. Our startup business pitch competition is your chance to win some startup funds, connect with potential investors, practice pitching your idea, and learn from experienced business professionals!
Who?
You Are: Entrepreneur/Innovator based in Whatcom or Skagit County. (At least one team member must live in Whatcom or Skagit County).
When?
Application Deadline: August 25, 2024.
Finalists Selected: September, 2024.
Event Date: November 2, 2024.
Coaching and Workshop Sessions:
If you would like to review your idea with a WWU Small Business Development Center certified business advisor, you can request a session with Eric Grimstead.
Where?
Location: Whatcom Community College - Syre Auditorium.
